PATTERN | AJA KNOT BAG

This knot bag is made in three steps: you start by making the middle body section of the bag, which is worked in rows. Then you seamlessly add the short handle, which also makes up the side section of the bag. This is worked in rounds. At the same time, you close the side seams. The second handle, which makes up the other side section of the bag, is added to the middle body section in the same way. Finally, the insides of the handles are covered in slip stitch for extra stability. The name “knot bag” relates to the way the bag is fastened by pulling the long handle through the short one to create a knot.

1 x 50 g (1.76 oz) Pascuali Re-Jeans (95% cotton 5% other fibres) in colour A 
2 x 50 g (1.76 oz) Pascuali Re-Jeans (95% cotton 5% other fibres) in colour B
Colours of the pictured sample:  
Colour A: #39 Lilac
Colour B: #18 Ruby
